How do I book a guided trip?
Simply get in touch through the contact form, Instagram or email. Tell me when you'll be in Italy, your fly fishing experience and what kind of trip you're looking for. I'll get back to you as soon as possible to plan your day on the river.
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking several weeks in advance, especially during spring and autumn when demand is highest. Last-minute requests are always welcome, subject to availability.
Do I need to be an experienced fly angler?
Not at all. Whether you're making your first casts or you've been fly fishing for years, every trip is tailored to your level and your goals.
What kind of fishing do you specialise in?
Dry fly fishing is at the heart of what I do. Depending on the season and river conditions, we may also use nymphs or emergers when they provide the best approach.
Should I bring my own equipment?
Yes, if you have it. If you're unsure whether it's suitable, just ask. I'll be happy to advise you before your trip.
Can I buy your hand-tied flies?
Yes. My fly patterns are available throughout the season and can also be purchased separately.
Where do we meet?
The meeting point depends on the river we'll fish. Full details are provided before your trip.
Do I need a fishing licence?
Yes. I'll explain which licences are required and help you arrange everything before your arrival.
Do you practice catch and release?
Respect for fish and rivers is a fundamental part of my approach. Fish are handled carefully and local regulations are always followed.
Can I keep fish?
Only where local regulations allow it. Before every trip, I'll explain the rules that apply to the river we're fishing.
